@dailystoic: why do we seek to stay in the present moment? b/c fretting about the dangers ahead saps our will… “It is good that God kept the truths of life from the young as they were just starting out or else they’d have no heart to start at all.” https://tinyurl.com/yc9g2ltz
This is funny and rings true. The quote seems to not only apply to life, but to some good endeavors as well.

Why is Peeps asking me to save to blockchain twice after already paying gas?
The interface has to be improved, sorry about that Darren. Have bumped this up on the list.

I really should have peep-tweeted this, haha. Might be time to dust off the @peepeth account. Thanks for sharing it!

Speaking of which, there was a project on Kickstarter or IGG, not sure now, cannot find it, a thermoelectric bracelet that can cool you down or warm you up. There's one called Wristify, but that's not the one I remember from the crowd-sourcing campaign.
That's cool.
I saw someone in a (very hot and long) bike race wearing a similar cooling device around their neck and back.

hi @bevan - probably just missed it... can you give us your rationale for making #peepeth #invitationonly now?
Thanks for asking Felix. This is a temporary measure as some important features are ironed out. It will be removed in the coming months.

@bevan how is the feed being rendered in Peepeth today? i think every peep that gets published by every user is visible to every other user(unless muted) irrespective of the follow is that correct?
That's correct, and yes, the friends feed only shows the peeps of those you follow (and yours as well).
Hey all! Hope your week is off to a good start.
Thanks for your patience as I finish up the crowdfunding campaign. It's going live within a week, pending approval.
Appreciate your peeps and suggestions!

@bevan I cannot visit many friend's page. It always showed me "Can not find that page". I found this yesterday evening and now even worse. I tested on my mobile and on my computer, both the same. I don't think @Kumaran would mute me cause he's a really gentleman. :)
Thanks for the heads up Derek, have fixed this issue!

Really nice! And practical since the bag bans are introduced all around the world!

(iirc @bevan knows more about ipfs than i do so if i'm wrong point it out)
That's pretty much it. Data is stored on Infura's IPFS nodes, and on the nodes of an unknown number of people who are replicating Peepeth data.

Haven’t been to Rockefeller Center in a bit. Passed by last weekend when celebrating my wife’s birthday early and although touristy, I still like the area.
I like the vibe there too. Never skated it, but I liked that they have a ice rink in the winter. Happy birthday to your wife!

@bevan The notification of 'you can offer Enso again' bothers me a little. Cause it comes everytime I come, and also on every page I open. It really pushes me to Enso ASAP. Not a good feeling. BTW, I've sent you an email, have you got it?
Thanks for the feedback. You're right, the Ensō alert isn't working well. I just pushed a fix; let me know if it's still acting strange.
I did receive your email; will respond soon.

@bevan, would it be possible to implement markdown instead of HTML stylization? The first one takes less characters to apply.
Yes, this is in the works. Thanks for confirming.

Yes... I was just wondering, it can be so easy to lose my entire identity with a mistake. The security is somehow centralized because everything depends on our mnemonic, private key, etc..
That's true; not to mention funds! An interesting crypto usability problem, but I think there's a lot that dapp developers can do to help.

My son loves transport. His biggest train trip was a sleeper train Melbourne to Sydney. My longest single trip was San Francisco to Baltimore on Greyhound bus. My longest train trip was Dar es Salaam to New Kapiri Mposhi.
Wow, SF to Baltimore is a long haul on a bus. How long did you take for that trip?
Curious about the Tanzania -> Zambia trip too. Sounds epic!

My son had a plan. We caught a tram to its terminus. The sun came out so we walked to another line and caught the tram back into town. Train home in time to watch the footy.
#lkie Today, the local tram. In a few years, maybe the Trans-Siberian :)
Has anyone on Peepeth done that trip?
