Excited to share that during my personal away time, I've been working on my novel! It's steadily progressing, so keep an eye out for more info :) So far we're at 28k words and 51 pages!

Maybe I was just in Japan too long, but American's not observing the basics of cold/flu safety is silly to me. From not providing adequate sick leave to not doing the needful to prevent significant illness in their communities, it all seems short sighted. Last I'll say on that :)

Let me be clear: I live in the state leading national infections right now. The burden of his protection shouldn't be on him. This is spread in communities, it takes community support to slow the spread

I'm personally low-risk, but my husband is high-risk still - despite us doing everything to protect him. Yet, for some reason, the burden is on him? After everything, I fail to see masking/vaxxing as a #political issue and more of a #conscientiousness thing

Just finished the potting process and...WHOAH!! Some seriously phat tubers in there, just full of moisture. Gonna wait a little bit before watering them again, but definitely expect many many more baby spiders

Repotted the spider plants at the beginning of the season and now they need bigger pots!! I had three that I repotted into their own pots. Only two made it and now they're just busting out of their pots with babies!

Not a therapist, can only say that sounds like my experience of depression. The best healing came when instead of trying in vain to create those deep connections with others, I made a deeper connection with myself. Then I didn't feel so disconnected anymore. YMMV, be well! <3

Update: we're both feeling okish today. Whatever was taking him for a ride stopped around lunchtime yesterday. The rest of the day was just sniffles and congestion. 2 negative rapid tests, but we still sent off for a PCR to be sure
