anyone here have experience with lower back/sciatic pain? would love to be able to move faster at work tomorrow. π’
I've been dealing with this for 10 years and do not have a great solution. But what people suggest here do help somewhat. Hanging from bars, lower back stretches, yoga, standing desks. Just be sure to be consistent and do these things a few times a week if not everyday.

Competition went well! So the China women's team (which I was on) didn't place highly at all, but considering it was China's first time sending a women's team to Worlds, I consider it a success. Lots of lessons learned. And the event was just incredible. 160+ countries represent
Howdy folks sorry I've been MIA. Was at the ultimate frisbee Worlds Competition for 10 days and generally adjusting to new life in DC. All is well here, though missing Filo. He is with a friend in NYC but should be able to get a ride to DC next weekend. Peep on everybody.

went and did a stage (performance interview) at a kitchen downtown yesterday. it was very positive, i feel, and the best part was that i got to make some things for the first time in months. also, it is amazing to me to see how much sacramento has changed (and hasn't)!

Just downloaded all of my Twitter data and closed my two Twitter accounts. Next up is a FB/Instagram alternative. Any recommendations? Was a Twitter user since 2008. Feels refreshing.
Congrats. I'm not sure on an alternative to FB/instagram. Going off IG honestly does not feel like any sort of loss. FB is harder because of the messaging and groups (for me, my family's group page). I find it very useful. I say just quit IG and be done with it. :)

I see some around but I have heard that due to legal restrictions, it is difficult for any bikeshare-type company to win out the DC market. Which is too bad for us!

Been absent from internet a few days, at frisbee tournament in Boston. I won this bracelet; got to choose from "WILL" "SPIRIT" and "GRIND." Love the grind concept; combination of willpower+spirit+ambition. I think one of the highest compliments to give is "that person can grind."

And only once before have I seen this type of sheltered spring. There are 2 chalices next to it used for scooping water from the well. The spring is covered with a wooden door that protects it from the elements, although the surplus of water is flowing away anyway. #acrossRomania
