They're stored on both. AWS is for performance reasons.

Could keybase.io add support for peepeth? If you could verify your peepeth address, it would be easier to bridge profiles from legacy social networks. Peepeth could also add support for verified badges based on other networks, like twitter (keybase has a verified twtr for eg).
