Synchronistic Fireflies find consensus without a leader and coordinate out of self-interest, not collective. Is there a better biological analogy to blockchain? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Photinus_carolinus
Great picture. I like fireflys :)

Low-fi, black beach, calm sea, bird, rock, 5 years ago, hanging out with @fhi
It was just great. My first beach with black sand :)

This speech by Charlie Chaplin is one of the greatest speeches I've ever heard and it probably has a greater impact on my life than I can imagine. It still moves me today, like the first time I heard it when I was about 14 years old. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8HdOHrc3OQ
Yes, this is a great speech and one that will never be outdated.

Irrespective of cost and travel time, where would you most want to visit for a week or two? 🌴🗻🌲🏜 Feel free to list your top three. Can include places you've already been. Nepal, Kauai, and Croatia come to mind for me (largely inspired by peeps).
New Zealand, South Korea, Taipei would be my favourites :)

Got a machine recommendation for Moonface yesterday and found his album "Organ Music Not Vibraphone Like I'd Hoped" to be perfectly titled. #music #organ https://music.youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_ljpoAcXA8wdyrx0GpQtCvdohcEhh1Rb2c
An absolutely excellent piece of art. I love it. Thanks for sharing. :)
One year earlier: fog, mountains, old trees and good friends. Felt like we were walking through a witch forest sometimes. #madeira #selfmade
One day in Lisbon... I miss the days where I could travel. #lisbon #travel #selfmade
Interesting article about research with disabled gamers. Now, I want to read the linked source. I'm happy that people start looking deeper into that topic. https://medium.com/mit-technology-review/the-secret-world-of-disabled-gamers-2e8e016f75f1
Interesting and good written article... Thanks to the author and a nice "Have fun" to all readers. https://medium.com/personal-growth/wabi-sabi-the-japanese-philosophy-for-a-perfectly-imperfect-life-11563e833dc0

from a hiking tour on #Madeira
This was one of our best hiking tours on Madeira... standing the first time in my live over the clouds and watch them from above surrounded by fog and wind. <3

Have a moment? Let this particularly beautiful piece of solo piano give you some calm: Low Light from Peter Broderick's Album Grunewald https://youtu.be/OZnLM5Eiyc8
Great music. I love it. :) Thanks for sharing...
I found this in an article today. It has a wise core and is something that I have to remind myself sometimes.
“You have power over your mind — not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.” Marcus Aurelius, Meditations
I want to read this old book.
