Has anyone looked into Axie Infinity? New blockchain project built on ethereum that allows you to collect, breed, and fight digital creatures you adopt and raise. Artwork looks great. Was chatting with creators + developers on the project and looks awesome. Anyone check it out?
Looks well done but feel it's a bit too expensive, or is that just me? I love me some collectables but haven't dabbled in the crypto side due to me thinking most are too much eth for a single character/pet/thing.

It was called Rare Digital Art Festival back in January. It was hosted by Dada NYC which is a cool growing Digital Art site and had a lot of big people in the space like the creator of CryptoPunks, CyrptoKitties, Decentraland (which is so wild) and a lot more.
I gotta look that up. A huge fan of collecting and if it helps artists then my interests rises haha. Decentraland is def cool and interested to see where it goes.

I think one of the most interesting and underlooked spaces in this transformation to blockchain is digital art. I had the privilege of attending a digital rare art festival in NYC months ago. It's amazing how they're using blockchain for digital art. Anyone else into this?
I recently got mentioned Pixura and it sounds interesting. What event did you attend?

I decided to write about the space at the end of last year - because there was so much misinformation. I was spending most of my time talking/reading about the crypto space anyway. I'm a hard-core believer in the potential... will spend the rest of my life trying to help it along
Also have noticed the lack of care in name and visual representation of coins, graphics, ideas and videos... but that's the designer in me talking, haha.

Newbie here and really believe in it. What's really distracting are all these people in it to make money only, it takes away from the decentralized movement and all you get are a bunch of rude yelling jerkoffs. It's very difficult to wade thru that when you're trying to learn.

I'd like to have a decentralized blog platform (not steemit) where UI can be customized and posts get backed up via network to retain actual ownership. I need a #Peepeth blog platform to happen, haha. Only problem would be cost if one writes often. Thoughts?
Gaming with blockchain tech is going to be amazing. Recently talked to the @bitguild folks and thinking about ways it'll benefit. Item ownership (major), global leaderboards not trapped in a game, weapons or items to be used in diff games. This is exciting...

Waiting for a blockchain CCG that gets me hooked, I love cards and collecting. So far nothing really has tugged at my collecting addicted self. There was #Tron dogs recently but didn't even bother to buy one. Waiting on #Bitguild and tron or maybe I should create one?
I think #Peepeth is going to work well for those wanting to break free and own their content. We have to come to terms with what is free isn't really for free and if you really want something you have to pay for it. This is a fantastic example and a really good start @bevan!

Oh, I'll make that more clear. The Twitter verification has a fee on top of the gas cost. As noted on the verification instructions, it adds an amount transfer to the transaction of 0.005.

Was it for the Twitter Verify? I was charged 0.005 ($2.02). Thought it was also a bit high.

I'm just curious, why linking to my existing Twitter account coasts $2 instead of 0.7, when MetaMask askes me to accept transaction O_o
Hmm good point, didn't fully think about it when I did it. Also not batched with the unsaved actions as well so it's cheaper. At least that's what it seems like.

I never thought I would be cool with the idea of paying to post, but then I realized that this means no advertisements and a totally organic platform and I fell in love with the whole thing!
I have to adjust myself to it and changes done to the settings wait but so far so good.
