Does anyone know how to borrow Bitcoin?
Only margin trading, that I am aware of.

Nice call sign tho. Reads like KI Show :) will check out HamStudy.org and see if it works for me.
I may get a vanity call sign, shortening it to K5HOW
Got my radio call sign. KI5HOW

Congrats! Still looking around for someone of the clubs around here to learn from. Definitely wanna make my license too.
Thanks. I just got my call sign on the FCC database. KI5HOW. You can study from phone apps. I used HamStudy.org
The networked radio systems I’m excited to try are DMR, which has talk groups around the world accessible with a handheld radio; and, Fusion, which is similar. Zello simulates Amateur radio. There are phones with PTT buttons to simulate two way radio with Zello. No license needed

Congrats! That's awesome. How much preparation does the exam require? Any plans for your new license? Amateur radio seems like the original "social network". Wonder if there'll be a resurgence.
Thanks. The Q&A are a static pool you can memorize. Easy. My plans are to chat with people around the world. You’re right. Amateur radio now uses hotspots, repeaters, nodes, gateways, bridges, and other means of connecting people around the world. Kind of like Zello.
Completely forgot to mention last week that I passed the Technician exam for an amateur radio license. Waiting for fcc to issue my call sign.

You can get a low end VPS for about $3-$4 a month on Amazon AWS if you use a reserve instance.
Thanks. I’ll check it out. It’s been a while since I’ve toyed with AWS.
Today, I figured out how to set up IPNS. Unfortunately, my site is slow. I may have to host on a VPS instead of my desktop.
Working on getting an order for networked thermostats together. Getting these set up will be a start towards automating our building. I'm also putting together and order for sensors from another company.

Mhh, if you make a note public on https://my-beta.aleph.im you can retrieve it by api later on, we plan on making public notebooks available in the future. https://blogtest.aleph.im is storing everything on ipfs, needs some work to be upgraded to latest aleph.im version :)
I'll explore it tonight. Thanks.

Found this tutorial...not sure if it's what you need, but a decent start: https://community.unstoppabledomains.com/t/convert-wordpress-site-for-use-with-ipfs-guide/327
Thanks, that might do the trick. I can convert Blogger into Wordpress, I think.
I am searching for a blogging solution that allows me to use IPFS to host my posts. I suspect I may not be able to do this without learning how to be a web developer. This is a level of nerd I have been avoiding. I can’t be good at EVERYTHING.
Origin Protocol seems like an interesting project. I may try it over the weekend. https://medium.com/originprotocol

Did you know that the data we provide social media companies, our data which we DO NOT own, is now worth more than all the oil in the world? #data #oil #socialmedia #google #facebook #twitter #snapchat #bitcoin #crypto
Aw, nuts.

Ok, thanks for the explanation. I assume that’s a paid service then? Long-term IPFS storage is still a mystery (is FileCoin the answer?)
That’s the hope. I’ve had limited success with long-term IPFS storage, even pinning. I think I may have to maintain my own IPFS node for the stuff I want to share.

What does Eternum do?
Eternum allows you to pin IPFS files so that there is are copies available in case your node is offline. I use it to pin episodes on dsound.audio which tend to stop playing after some time.
Still learning little tricks with IPFS. For example, I added Eternum to my node cluster.

Hey Shaine, yes, there have been some issues with Brave recently. Thanks for checking in. How are things on your end?
All is well. Growing into my job, so I haven’t spent as much time socializing. Also studying for ham radio license.
Got Peepeth on phone MetaMask. I can grow to like this.
Checking in. Brave browser wallet forced some shuffling off of MetaMask. So, I thought I'd make sure my login still works.
Heading home. Off for Good Friday. I am looking into crypto currencies. Other than BTC and ETH to buy stuff, I never looked at what else I could do. I have some reading ahead.
Knee deep in figuring out how to rekey my entire building. First, I need to know how many locks and how many keys are involved.

So this is the less toxic twitter i‘ve heard? Hi Peeps!
Howdy. Welcome.

You almost nailed it.

What's stopping you?
Just coming up with a topic. I don't put too much work into production, so it's not a matter of procrastination. It takes a while to think of a topic.
Thinking of recording an audio blog post.
I am torn between Minds and Steem. There is only so much time in the day.
Time to go home. Action packed day. It was fulfilling.
Back to Monday. There are better days of the week.
Drained today. I need a nap.
Experimenting with some arbitrage. Maybe I can make a buck.
I'm starting to find cryptocurrency more understandable now. I wish I could say I got smarter. I think the tools are getting better. Grateful for developers who make these things work.
Alright, I'm back. what did I miss?
Just wrapped up a quick little photo shoot for a friend's daughter.
I had not realized that Peep permalinks have the IPFS hash. I wonder if I should pin them? Or do they automatically get distributed to IPFS nodes when viewing?
Had a late night. May be a bit draggy today.

Between you me and well.. everybody else who reads this. Twitter is going the way of the Dodo. Unless this problem is fixed that is. I don't see it how it can. But the Bots and algorithms are killing the place.
They're going to end up blocking everybody who is interesting.

"Post To Twitter" I can't. They suspended me for no real reason... maybe to Facebook. I can also verify myself on Facebook too. Twitter seemingly thinks I am a bot so I may never rejoin them.
I just had one of my accounts shut down on Twitter as well, for the same reason. The SMS verification doesn't seem to work on my Google Voice number. I'm stuck. Fortunately, my personal Twitter handle still works, for now.
Doing verifications. I'm not entirely certain what advantage this gives. It all seems almost too simple. How can this be blockchain if I'm not tearing out my hair?
Wow. I figured out how to peep on mobile. Neat-o.
Dealing with distraction using more distraction.
