I think it depends on who you network with...In my feed that has been a lot of calling out, now it's because I'm a woman and men can be shits, but it's a lot of screenshots of inappropriate conversations and the like. My industry ppl are def expressive/opinionated and start stuff

Sterile, exactly. And a little manipulative. I still think it has potential, but I wish there was a version where people were held accountable for what they posted, claimed, or messaged to others.

We got a good social network here on Peepeth. I love how people listen to each other, hedge what they say, and react like real people. The realest social network there is, as I see it. The question is, how do we keep it real and full of real people?
(pt 2) to let people know that people take notice

I think the "realness" does have those annoying/brash/non listening ppl etc. It what we actually encounter in everyday life. What's always been missing in social is the "societal norms" that pevent ppl being an ass to your face. So giving virtual sideyes or "whyd you say that"

Crazy couple of weeks. Over in the US for the @duckduckgo annual meetup, then a few days down time before heading down to UK Games Expo where I spent too much money, as usual.
Nope all I see are "investments"

8 days in Italy and I’ve only finished one bottle of wine. I need to step my game up. 🍷
Yep, you're doing Italy wrong

- but I think it's useful to recognise how limited the brain is. And back to @Bevan's original quote, I want to know - how do you choose what information is useful to let in to your own life? How do you prevent being affected by this new kind of censorship on a personal basis?
Like someone said earlier, you pick and choose your bias. But you also reevaluate them *constantly*. Doesn't mean it has to be in depth but a quick. What are my assumption in this conversation? Am I automatically invalidating someone? Do I care?
I use honeyminer to mine on a very low level. Any other resources out there that have training wheels as I learn about crypto?
