How could #Blockchain combat #fakenews?
My take #mtm18: #Journalist, #publisher and tech-startups like #Trudia could use blockchain #protocols to provide incorruptible insights into journalist work and therefore effectively combating the allegation of spreading #misinformation.

Nice articles, Felix. I've often looked through my telescope but, have not see any vespertilio-homo yet. How is Trudia verifying news and content?
hahahaha @natestipe too bad, maybe there are some on the #mars soon! :D We are building a #machinelearning lab for media validation. There are specific parameters you can backtrack -eg. #timestamp or author - and we can solve them quicker. That's our #hypothesis :)

Very interesting initiative #Trudia, l will follow with much interest. I noticed initiatives for rating credibility of news or official statements (Washington Post, factual.ro), wondering how effective are for general public?

The underlying is, once again, time vs complexity. We need to be quicker than #fakenews spread.

How is this being done? Are "authentication workers" staking something? Who ultimately decides if news is reliable? I'd love for there to be reliability marketplace... the cost of manipulation needs to be really high... Will look into this.
system will be neutral, independently monitored, potential open-source and for sure with decentralized encryptions
