Hah, all the peeps on which I've ticked the "Tweet" box over the past couple weeks just got tweeted six hours ago at the same time.

My go-to is No Such Thing As A Fish, hosted by four of the writers and researchers on the British panel show QI (Quite Interesting). Hilarious and fascinating.

One of our dogs lost her favorite ball about a week ago. She's been depressed since. So we picked her up a replacement yesterday and she hasn't dropped it from her mouth for more than 30 seconds at a time since. 😄

And the hard part is not buying all of them! :D

Eh, murder is illegal but it still happens. Having laws that are aimed at fixing something doesn't mean the thing gets fixed. Gonna share some text from Delgado's and Stefancic's book. Very illuminating.

I'm curious as to how CRT is defined here. I go with Delgado's and Stefancic's 2001 definition from "CRT: An Introduction: "The [CRT] movement is a collection of activists and scholars interested in studying and transforming the relationship among race, racism, and power" (p. 2).

I think that position is definitely in good faith. I'd argue, rather, that ignoring, shunning it actually exacerbates the problem. It needs to be acknowledged, reckoned with, and appreciated for its full weight. Part of what CRT is for, really! My $0.02, anyway. :)

Definitely. Enso is great but the lack of some sort of like-mechanic means the interaction is confined to replies and reposts, which seem even more "heavy" than the enso. Replies being similar to quote-tweets is also a bit much, visually on the timeline.
