Looks good so far

Which means there is no "right" to be forgotten. I cannot ask that all my data is to be deleted. Kind of a tatoo in the social network world

Because there was a *purchase* that model worked. "Free" articles, of course, need something in return... if not your data, then what is there... especially when blocking advertising is trivial. Free stuff, and the expectation of free stuff, has done the world a disservice.

Indeed

Alright, if NO info from you, then NO info for you.

A bit different to the old paper magazine purchases, anonymous reading was possible then

This one was a no-knead white bread. Since then I've tried multiple loaves of wheat bread, but I can't seem to get them to turn out as well as the white bread.

How long did the no knead bread rest before being baked? An the other ones?

Nice that the manager boxed it all up for you! In Freiburg, Germany, there are bikes parked downtown with big wooden panniers containing communal food. Restaurants and bakeries deposit sandwiches etc, and anyone can take from them.

I guess this is from: https://foodsharing.de/

Just added as a friend. 🙏 write in english or I will get bored soon 😅

:D - Bonn is the former German capital, so I cannot avoid to write in German. The important stuff comes in English :-)

Yes, the same for me. Give me your mastodon user@server and you will get a new follower. :) Deleting whatsapp is different. People will find out how to reach you.

askans@bonn.social Waiting for you :-)

Welcome back, pluma. I baked my first good loaf of bread while you were gone.

Looks great. Looks like a no-knead wheat bread, ins't it?

You can show them the alternatives. #Signal is almost identical but privacy oriented. I have never been on Facebook, I will not miss Whatsapp.

Switched to Mastodon as a Twitter alternative, but most of the followers did not follow :-(

@bevan the gif is broken in the preview only. If anyone is interested, you can click the gif (twice) to see the unbroken image.

That's indeed true, thanks for the hint

My current favourite food book: "with our own hands" which does preserve the food culture of the Pamir region in Afghanistan & Tadjikistan in a fantastic way.

Somehow the gif does not seem to work properly
