Ugh, somewhere over that last couple of weeks I’ve picked up a chest infection and the antibiotics seem to have made the symptoms worse, hopefully temporarily.
Crazy couple of weeks. Over in the US for the @duckduckgo annual meetup, then a few days down time before heading down to UK Games Expo where I spent too much money, as usual.
#politics So Brexit, what a mess. As much as I don't want it to happen I also want it to be over, but there seems to be no end in sight. There's a political impasse and I don't see how another 6 months will help, especially when parliament is on holiday for like 12 weeks of it.

Awesome D&D game last night. Said goodbye to a bard last night, she's heading back to Canada. Fat-loot lute cake by my wife and friend (our Paladin).
Thanks for the Ensõ @fhi - I'll pass it on to my wife and her friend. :D

I did a straw poll of some friends on who owned Instagram and What’s App. They didn’t know.
Research by @DuckDuckGo shows half of US adults don't realise WhatsApp and Instagram are owned by Facebook so I'm not surprised. https://spreadprivacy.com/facebook-whatsapp/

View from my home office window this morning. First significant snow of the year.
First and last! Weather already warming up!
Was in Peru with colleagues and friends for a week at the beginning of March. Good times!
Played Star Trek: Ascendency board game over Christmas. Pretty epic, took us about 4 hours to get through it. Hopefully playing again soon... this time vs the Borg 🖖

That and the chair. Enviable combo.
I have to sit there with the intention of working though, or else the day is lost!

It’s been a while. We’re quite settled in #Dunoon now. I have a cool home office and when I want something a bit more cosy, I have this...

Many moons ago, I started bringing my search offerings to @DuckDuckGo totems (shaman @brindy, wake the totem up please), but for image search I secretly worshiped the spirit of Google. Not anymore. After the latest "improvement", their image search looks like crowpeth dropping.
Will share your feedback with the team, thanks.

What's going on with Etherium?
Exactly what I just came to peep about. I’d like to know too!
Back in our new home after a wee holdiay in the Scottish Borders. Our wee man loves the local walks and beaches.

Neat! How many times did people check any of them out and said "Star Trek! Cool!" 😄
None so far - unless deliberately trolling me 😂

Wow, amazing view! There must be great hiking trails around there :)
Yeah loads. Lookup “bagging monroes”, but the local government have added some really great trails for cycling and running around there.

3) Horus the dog patiently waiting
4) view from front of house. Out of view to the right is Holy Loch, which joins onto Loch Long, which connects to the Firth of Clyde and ultimately the sea.

Visiting my new house out in the sticks of Scotland. Struggling to post because the connection is a bit spotty. One of these days I will get around to writing a native Peepeth client for iOS. Meanwhile here’s some pics. 1) view from my new office

I’ve been quiet on here recently, but I still believe! :)
Moving house soon, to the west of Scotland. This will be a typical view. Can’t wait.

Big Trouble in Little China is such a fun game! The “choose your own adventure” main quest mechanic means hours of replay and the minis are great too.
Jack Burton - it’s all the reflexes

Just watched Big Trouble in Little China in anticipation of playing the board game on Thursday evening. It’s all in the reflexes.
