This is my first and best so far edited photo in snapseed. Even got this one printed to frame as its my daughter. I have a vision to take photos like this of other peoples children. I have a type of nature talent for capturing the right moments. Hope its good enough for you time.
She's lovely - and so is this photo. :)

Your intuition is right - the picture is from the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin. It brings the contemplation and remembrance of a cemetery, but also a strong warning of the terrible things we are all capable of doing when we forget to be kind.
It is a powerful picture and I'm sure there is a palpable energy when one walks through the memorial.
I agree. Kindness matters - followed very closely by keeping an open mind and open heart.

This is the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin. I think it was designed to be very abstract, for the visitor to interpret the meaning. The cemetery feeling is definitely present.
Thank you for sharing.

Made it to #berlin with @katy for @BerBlockWeek β- spending the compulsory time to reflect on this location's history. Thinking about the power and responsibility of decentralization.
Awesome pic @nico
What is this place? My first thought was that it's a cemetery but I didn't see any markers on the blocks. Still... It looks like a great place to contemplate life.

I'm not entirely sure when they are releasing the game but I found a link that explains it: https://steemit.com/steemmonsters/@steemmonsters/steem-monsters-gameplay-mechanics-revealed
They're pretty active on the Discord channel too.

Very interesting choices! Iβd like to hear more about your perspectives on both. :) My first real estate flip was a $17,000 foreclosure that needed to be gutted. I put $7000 into it, along with lots of love, and sold it for $65,000. You can still crush real estate with 25k ;)
2+/2 LOL (character limits)
SteemMonsters. Dynamic group who are getting sh!t done. Will it have the rise & fall like CryptoKitties or will #MonsterMadness give it longevity (PokemonGo)? I think it's the latter but I'm partial to the DApps on Steem

I love home improvement project, working with my hands & repurposing things. Hubby's handy with plumbing & electric but you know, like most people, we're on a hamster wheel. Gotta pay the bills & eat. Not much extra at the end of the month #dreaming

If you suddenly inherited $25,000 AND had no debts to worry about, which investments would you make?
long term: ImageProtect $IMTL
short term(?): SteemMonsters
$25K not enough to get into flipping real estate.

It's not only devs - I tried to sort into the general concept of makers, managers, marketers. Perhaps wanting only people actively working in the blockchain space is asking for too much. Would be happy to have you if you like the rest of the look of it.
Cool! I'll head over now. Thanks :)

Tomorrow I officially anglicize my name to James Scaur. Random side benefits: *J.S. = JS = JavaScript *James (5) + Scaur (5) = even 10 *Scaur backwards sounds like Rocks with a weird accent *Scaur.nz domain wasn't taken (it's now mine) *I change it same day as my 20th birthday
HAPPY BIRTHDAY! And may you celebrate many more.
Since you're not old enough to legally drink (in the U.S.) I will pour a little extra whiskey in my coffee to toast the event. Dilly Dilly!

Really cool @scaur
I'll be following the conversation & progress. I didn't click the apply button because I'm not a dev. My involvement in crypto is mostly blogging, bounties and some social media management for a couple of blockchain projects.
Have you heard of @SteemMonsters ? It's a fully decentralized, digital collectible trading card game built on the Steem blockchain! They've just redesigned their website https://steemmonsters.com #monstermadness

Going to get a case of beer and some steaks, burgers, and chicken for the grill in a few hours. Grilling today because it's supposed to rain tomorrow. I was almost out the door about half an hour ago but realized they don't allow beer purchases til 12:30 on Sundays here.
Ah yes, the blue laws. It's after noon SOMEWHERE, right? And now I have a sudden craving for potato salad. :oP
