Many of the health problems that pets get are caused by a bad diet. It's not natural for cats and dogs to live off "meat-flavored cereal" full of things they would never touch in the wild, such as wheat, corn, soy, and vegetable oil. It is killing them, literally.

I hope he changes his mind. If it's something he enjoys, there is no reason not to continue. AI has been able to dominate in most video games for a long time, but human competitions are still gaining popularity.
One day robots will dominate in sports. That doesn't mean all humans have to stop playing.

Trying to deploy an IncognitoChain node on a Raspberry Pi. The older ones like the Pi3 are just not powerful enough.
The SD card is a major bottleneck in RP devices, and they often become unreliable in just a few months. Adding an SSD will greatly help performance.
If the RPi4 still isn't powerful enough for you, you might want to look into a Rock Pi 4. It has 6 cores and onboard NVME M.2.

It was unexpected. We had high winds a few hours ago. The power actually went out about 6-7 times before it finally stayed off.
Doing a P90X3 workout in the dark because the power is out.

Interesting, hasn’t heard about hyperventilating, will look into that. Reminds me of holotropic breathing. My plan is still being formulated. Maybe something like run twice per week, one longish run and one sprint session. Thoughts? Did 3 mi yesterday. This is a for fun event so I’m mostly interested in doing it comfortably / not injuring myself.
I've read that sprinting exercises can help with marathons, but I can't speak from experience.
Not much time left to train. I'd say 2 to 3 times a week quickly increasing the intensity and closely monitoring progress. Decrease intensity the final week before the event.

Nice. How many days per week do you run? I recently committed to a 15k in January, which will be my first "long" run in many years. It's nice to have a goal to shoot for.
I run 1-2 times a week. I’ve been experimenting with HIIT and my times are getting better. Next I’m adding in some hyperventilating since I just read it can increase sprinting performance.
15k is a pretty long one. What are you doing to prepare?

Those are great resources. Stackexchange recently doubled the "point value" of upvoted questions, recognizing the fact that asking good questions is as valuable as good answers. So ask away!
I don't like that they did that. 😠
Some of the guys I've seen on there with 10x more points than me literally do nothing but blast out terrible questions. The sheer number makes them more visible and more prone to upvotes.

So, let's talk about friction... Last time I was on Peepeth I set up MetaMask in Brave to interface with my hardware wallet. I migrated my Peepeth handle to an address controlled by the hardware wallet... I was feeling quite secure. (And rather oblivious to how complicated that sounds... but that's another story.) I haven't really peeped since. Moral of the story - friction is good when it comes to an identity, but with the delegate feature of Peepeth you can have your cake and eat it too.
And I thought using MetaMask normally was a hassle...
