(pt. 1) There were (and likely still are) these groups and channels forming where they would agree on a specific alt coin to pump massive amounts of money into and shill all over the internet...exchanges would show the coins at top volume and massive % it went up...
(pt 2) then the main stream public would all jump into mostly due to FOMO and rumor's of it being the next big thing, drive the price up further, the whales at specific time would then sell all of it, taking high profits, plummeting price, and leaving others screwed.

Could you elaborate on your specific understanding of whale manipulation? I have heard several versions and still don't know what to think of it.

This blockchain stuff is a total scam. Cryptocurrencies have no inherent value. A useful currency needs to have inherent value, like gold, fiat currency, or nonperishables like paintings of Campbell's soup cans.

I believe a mini review before saving to the blockchain is on the list already. A good guide to follow might be don’t save to the blockchain after midnight. @bevan #suggestion
But even if I haven't added it to the blockchain yet, there is currently no way to remove it from the platform correct? If not, I think it'd be a great idea (if possible) to be able to edit or remove a post before you save it to the blockchain

Scams are coming. We need to create the tools and governance to protect against them.
I've already been thinking what type of scams and shilling are going to commence. Where do you even start with governing and preventing something like that on open social network with permanent posts. Is it even possible?

There is no delete. All peeps are public. Your peeps can be seen by future you. Plus future employers, partners, grand kids, mainstream media, political parties, advertisers and your mother. Peep responsibly and check for typos.
Yeah things are going to be interesting here. There you should be a safe guard action that pops up "it's 3am and you've been drinking, are you absolutely sure you want to peep at your ex girlfriend?!" feature for future damage control

On mobile it is just #Trust currently with transaction confirmation notifications. Once they all do it then will have to pick your favourite.

Some features I'd like to see on Peepeth: - Smaller tip amounts! Custom amounts would be great too. - Ability to search recent peeps by keywords and #hashtags. - Auto-save of peeps being written but not yet posed so you don't accidentally lose them. (Second time writing this.)
