And is "I lie" a truth, or a lie? 🤔

Seagull - scavenger chicken or at the very least sea chicken. Pigeon - if can’t be rat chicken, perhaps racing chicken or messenger chicken.
Seagull is sky chicken.
Unless it's on the sea
In which case it is sea chicken.

Blockchain is not chicken 😆

For the past couple of years, my partner and I seem to have developed our own #language. It tends to apply to groceries and animals. All animals are currently categorized as either chickens or dogs.
Examples:
- Seagull: sky chicken
- Peacock: royal chicken
- Crows/ravens: Odin chicken
- Pigeon: city chicken
- Duck/mallard: water chicken
- Owl: wise chicken
- Swan: majestic chicken
The rule of thumb: if it currently doesn't have a name, it defaults to "silly chicken"

What's your plan for the future? Good luck!
For the next 2 months, continue where I am. Interview for other positions in a while.
Go on a holiday in June for 3 weeks, then... we'll see?
I'll offer my services as a freelancer at current company if they'll accept, but take on projects at my discretion.

That's great. Feel free to come join me down in Palermo, where I'll be staying in a 155€/mo apartment and coworking from for the next 2 months. 36€ flight from London. Always love to hang out with people into crypto.
And, oh Palermo! Went there a couple of years ago and fell in love with the city. Will send you a few tips later!

Congratulations! I remember the same feeling from just 5 months ago. Don't worry, it's far less risky than you think. I recommend getting phone numbers / etc, writing your coworkers endorsements, and doing a thorough (+creative) inventory of your resources (people, things, help)
All excellent advice. Thank you for the words of #encouragement (and the tip!).
I feel like the balance of salary vs. mental health vs. personal growth has shifted in the past 8 months and it's a good time to reset things a bit.

For the first time in my life, I'm going to resign a job without another one lined up.
Last day will be in 2 months. Feels like I'm off to adventure.

Thanks! Not that many, actually, and all veeeeeery shallow. But I do love swimming there.
Taken in Livorno a few evenings ago. A beautiful sunset on a still sea.

Found out that one of my favourite colleagues will be leaving the company in 2019. I'm somewhat devastated. He's the sort of developer that will benefit any organization he joins.
So I sent him a few links to jobs in the realm of Ethereum.
I hope he takes the bait.

Hey @SGerald, thanks for joining. Sorry about the posts you saw; they were indeed violating the terms and their accounts have been suspended. Hateful posts are aberrations here, which is partly why the moderation system isn't as good as it should be (actively working on it).
Lol! I haven't been around much as of late and my thought was "damn, things have gotten weird around here in my absence!"
I can never get enough of this view.

How do proponents of technical analysis (chartists) account for their own confirmation bias?
For example:
ETHUSD has support in the 119-125 area. Once this is decicisely broken, the next one is (look to the left) 85-95.
BUT the recent low also gives us a trendline which opens the possibility of a falling wedge (bullish). Prepare for either scenario.

Best way to go about it is to not say "it will", but "it could/might". It's a mental trick to keep thing flexible.
Also, draw a lot of lines where they fit, and see if the price follows them.
Hey everyone! Haven't been around much lately. Lots of work and life to deal with. Did I miss anything?

Oh really? Hit me up when it's closer to the date, if you're up for a beer.

The Supreme Court of India today scrapped the controversial Section 377- a 158-year-old colonial law on consensual gay sex. The Supreme Court reversed its own decision and said Section 377 is irrational and arbitary. "LGBT Community has same rights as of any ordinary citizen."
This is incredible. And perhaps unexpected?
Thoughts on how this will be enforced? Thoughts on how this will be taken by the population?
