Are you sure hashtags and ticker symbols work in Peepeth?
The hashtags highlight but not the tickers. I imagine the tickers will in time. As for work, no idea!
#Censorship on #Telegram only makes me more bullish on $SPANK $PINK and $VICE.
Just look at all these blocked channels… Hah!
Did you hear the one about how Russia disrupted their own banking services to censor a service which already censors content?

I actually wanted to suggest to @bevan that the ETH address hyperlink out to etherscan.io directly, but figured it might be a little too stalkerish. What do you think?
Hope people don’t forget one of their ETH addresses is for social now and don’t move all their ERC20 tokens to the same addresses. That’s just begging to get hacked.

$BTC in the oversold range on the 1d chart while stochastic RSI hovers in the middle. After taking the elevator up I’m expecting bears to use the present opportunity to crash $BTC as much as possible to get a good entry for the next leg up.

The ability to vote and have money returned puts a lot of shareholder pressure on teams to perform. Shareholders are generally very short-term thinkers, so I could see this being both good and bad personally. What are your thoughts? Did you get any of this? It is new…

My one issue with it is that you get the unintended opposite effect. People don't want to use it then regret it, so people hold on and forget to use enso at all.
For those not familiar with social psychology and ethics, here’s why it can be dangerous if one were able to simple dole out Enso.
0.4% percent of recent tax filers in the US reported taxable events on cryptocurrency reports Live Trading News. Perhaps that’s because taxation is theft and worse when it’s attempted on a private currency.

I'll go on record saying I am strongly against that decision. In my mind it is no more noble to let a random guy on the internet squat on a thousand names than it is to let the platform itself use them for growth.
It’s an incentive to be first. Enjoy the explosion.

It is def a tough call. I would have done it differently, but @Bevan made the call - not happening. lol So that should address @balibebas' concern...
This is a huge relief. People selling handles would be a good problem to have. Kudos to @Bevan for his obvious keenness for free markets. Crypto-Anarchy may thrive here as a result if you stay the course.

I was thinking specifically of Gab but I was hesitant to name it. It's a bit of a dumpster fire if you ask me.
Dumpster fires, for better or worse, are likely closer to what #freespeech looks like than actual dumpster fires. That said, I won’t touch Gab until they have an app in the App Store. Unless of course I find out handles have been reserved on Peepeth.

Don't worry - unless I roll-my-own frontend I don't have much say about Peepeth policies, lol. Dealing with spam will be a thing - and hopefully it is very granular in most cases. I am a little excited to see how it all evolves though...
Hopefully Steemit has published some research in that area. TBH I’d rather receive spam than have an algorithm attempt to control what I see and don’t see.

Ask him to post on Peepeth? - So we get to start practicing how best to deal with spam?
I get the joke. But whatever you do please don’t do what Twitter did otherwise I wouldn’t be here.
Censorship of speech is unacceptable and it’s my belief Peepeth can go much further than Twitter if it focuses on:
1. Positive reinforcement.
2. Keeping it fucking real.

@callmegwei Do you have anything that explains gas? I looked on your site but didn't see it and wondering if I missed it somehow.
It seems appropriate to interject and share this explainer on steemit.com which is up to 65 comments now and is not maintained by an early adopter of Peepeth. (No offense to Taylor, she’s great.)

Should or may? I believe what many of us early peepers are most interested in is the ability to lease out thoughts for some kind of monetary recognition. When I look at the Foursquare API ToS, as an example, I see a big fail to incentivize quality. Thoughts @fred?

Plus, the inherent cost of paying network fees to post should inhibit the same sort of bot development we see on current free-to-use social network APIs.

I believe only from Peepeth to Twitter.
Let’s hope that never changes. Otherwise we’ll all need apps to cross-post our thoughts to 17 different social media platforms. The goal should be to get social media to pay us for the privilege of accessing our data in one immutable place.
