Thanks for sharing your valuable feedback. PIN is used to encrypt private key material stored locally on the keychain. Btw, we use shamir secret sharing that allows you to backup your funds using a set of trusted devices. Email is used for some other purpose:)

I see. Coinsafe is not only creating a blockchain wallet, but also a network of wallet owners to secure each other's private keys. Very interesting way to "decentralise" security. :)
Yes, that's definitely the long term plan:) Although in our current model we advice users to secure their keys using devices that they own or owned by people they trust eg- friend, spouse, parents etc.

Nice clean app UX on Android... a few comments, questions, and ideas ... FYI: Email confirm got caught in spam filter You could use an Authenticator App as part of the multifactor signing scheme instead of email. This could help with Pin also as it is standard multifactor auth

I have a question: When you say "trusted devices" do you mean some form of digital ID (a phone number, an email address, a social media account) or a PHYSICAL device (phone, ipad/tablet, notebook/laptop, desktop)?
A physical device with the coinsafe app installed. Currently, it can be an iOS or Android device but in the coming months we'll have support for Desktop and a Chrome extension as well!
