My beautiful family is getting bigger! My wife and I are expecting a baby girl in January. It's absolutely true that time flies by when you have kids. I feel like it was just yesterday that my son was born.
congrats and happy peeping :) 🐧

Very seriously considering mining. Anyone have personal experience?
Definitely know that ASICs are loud AF

There should be an option in the settings to always show or always hide political/nsfw peeps.
+1

Trust feels pretty good and solid. They need to add fingerprint support like Coinbase Wallet does and why I prefer it for now.
second that. Fingerprint login and signing removes the hassle of managing private keys!🗝

As you're linking to Peepeth I see no reason for anyone objecting to it :) Take this one, it has a white background.

That's also a good idea. I suggested on my previous peep, to earn one a day (but they'd accumulate). So even if you didn't find anything worth while to "like", you'd keep it for another day.
Another idea: Make the enso you give or the post that receives it a NFT, with a section that showcases them. 🤔

Hello World! I've zero knowledge of how to prove this is my first Peep. As a cryptocitizen I hate toxic waste. Given the security of an ironclad, invoking Mr. Stark as famous witness might provide utility in the future. Now, as a token of safety, I'll neither confirm nor deny.
Welcome!🐧

Thanks. I noticed this hash (starting with Qm.. in the input field in etherscan for my transaction. However, when I try to look up the hash ( using ipfs cat), it tells me 'Error: merkledag: not found' I'm probably surely something. Would be cool to retrieve the text though
For me it worked once I had a local IPFS daemon running 🙂

These weird hashtag tweets from @ano @fred are not inspiring me to peep
they are definitely confusing. For a moment I thought it was some kind of art project by @fred ..

Very important peep in this time when you see more and more nazis around - let's not repeat this dark past - resist!
Indeed! Now is not the time to be lethargic or apathetic to these kind of issues.

Thanks for that last blog entry @danieljakobian. I'm planning to get my feet wet with .eth domain and IPFS hosting. I'm curious, how more complex can a static website be, when hosted on IPFS?
Maybe you'll find this link interesting:

Thank you Mario, for reading it! As far as I can tell there are no constraints on the complexity a static site on IPFS can have, besides maybe bandwidth. Dynamic sites with client side js are possible as well :)

I thank the driver if I get on in the front and shout out thank you as I get off. My generation could be the last to die. Need to remind myself to use my time well.
I don't think that your or my generation will be the last to die. I don't know, of course. But I personally think that extending life indefinitely will be achievable. Someday. Somehow. Death inevitable. Maybe not. All I know, is experience. Who you were years ago, is already dead

I thank bus drivers. We are all going to die but I don’t think I really fully appreciate that yet.
Do you greet them when you drive with the bus?
Who knows Andrew. The evidence speaks for us dying someday. But what does that even mean. Who were we before we were born. Who will we be after we die. Shit fucks with my head. But it helps to be nice. That I know.
@bevan Hey Bevan. I really like what you are doing with Peepeth. If you want some (Open Source?) help to work on Peepeth, I am extending my hand out. Maybe a Darkmode would be a nice next step and alternative to the current Frontend :)

I love listening to people who know a lot something, because I tend to know something about everything, but not too much about anything. What kind of person are you: an expert in a few things, or a generalist in many things?
Definitely a generalist. Guess the real experts are the more rare breed.
But who knows. Maybe if most of us are generalists, we tend to generalize people into experts and generalists :P

Hope everyone is having a great Friday!
I hope your Friday(rest of your life as well) is going to be great! sending love from Germany <3
I wish everyone to enjoy their day, overcome their inner hurdles and be a good person today. We, the People aren't perfect. But as we are aware of this shared experience we call life, let's try to be honest. Nobody really knows what's happening. Don't act like you do.
I just posted a short blogpost about my first experience with websites on IPFS

Does anyone have a recommendation for how many unsaved actions you should build up before posting them to the blockchain? Thanks!
the Limit is 15 as far as I know. So 15 for me :D
Seeing the enso as the sign of appreciation here makes me want to share one of my newest tattoos with the Peepeth community :)

Peep peep peep, ich hab euch alle lieb <3
