Yes, from the #allotment. Mostly hard wood and dried weeds: things that are harder to compost or are weedy. Ash gets returned to the soil.
Nice. What are you growing?

...that is, present-moment awareness is quite a bit different than the mind-dominated state that I find myself in most of the time. “Seeing” one’s thoughts and patterns vs unconsciously identifying with them allows one the freedom to change.

Hard but fruitful day at the #allotment. Used the #incinerator differently this time, completely reaming it as full as possible, leaving a channel for airflow. It really helps for a nice even burn, and can hold a lot more in one burn. I'm doing this from now on! 🐧🔥 #gardening
Cool. What is the incinerator for, just burning garden detritus?

Years ago I met a successful gold miner. He taught me an important life lesson over a game of pool: consider where the cue ball will land after every shot.
Don't wait to be successful at some future point. Have a successful relationship with the present moment and be fully present in whatever you are doing. That is success.

Wow, black market servals, that's not the type of thing you mention to strangers! Cats are like people: some show far more affection than others. #ShadowTheCat is more like a puppy sometimes than what one may think of as cat... It's adorable.
If I wasn’t allergic (to both cats and dogs, somewhat) I’d be inclined to test that hypothesis.
Maybe servals are hypoallergenic :)

If you asked me this 10 years ago, it would've been a resounding no. Then in 2014, a cat literally walked into my life, and has convinced me otherwise. Now, I definitely am an #ailurophile. 💕😻💕
I had a surreal Lyft Pool ride the other day. The other passenger was telling me about his pure-bred African Serval cat he'd purchased illegally for $5000. We then discussed how cats in general actually show affection to their owners. I always thought that was more of a dog thing
