This vest adds a dimension to my workouts. And doubles as a flak jacket. Thanks @Keith!
I knew you would get some use out of it!

Hilarious and very clever! I laughed through the whole thing. Thanks for sharing.

this sounds very similar to easter ricotta pie, pastiera napoletana. used to make a lot of it at my last gig. the flavors/textures are similar. :) i want to try one of yours... they look perfect for after dinner espresso time!
Excellent with espresso! I enjoy seeing all of your beautiful pastry creations. : )

Can you give us a description of what we see? :)
Certainly! It is a pastry filled with firm rice pudding that is flavored with vanilla as well as orange and lemon zest and dusted with powdered sugar.

Didn't look like my ginger plant held up to the freeze so decided to harvest.
I'm pretty sure there are some things you can do with the leaves. Tea perhaps? The root is definitely where most of the flavor is and I just planted it with store bought ginger root. Grew really easily, I even planted it late in the season in July.
My first attempt at budino di riso alla toscana. Now for the espresso.

FLORENCE!!! The back of Lorenzo de Medici is quite distinctive. As is the duomo in the background!

@cyan, good eye! They are mimosa. I have a big tree growing in the yard, mostly they seem to like the heat and humidity of Texas, no tricks unfortunately.

any idea what is causing the network heated up and gas prices shooted up?
I read something about the Fcoin Exchange token voting mechanism clogging the network.
Funfair opened up its beta on the rinkeby testnet. Kinda cool decentralized casino.

I would spend good ETH to curate my feed into a constructive, useful and inspiring stream of dialogue and information.
That is a noble goal. I too want to make my feed constructive to the community! Here is my Enso for the day!

Others like me have to work on ability AND signaling! Haha. Good article.
High ability + high signaling = #Rockstar so good thing to strive for!

@Keith, I can't say that I'm familiar with Jocko or his work but I do know that there are many incredible opportunities to learn about growth though the lens of SEAL training! Have you implemented anything he discusses yourself?
2/2 Looking forward to reading more about growth from you!

@Keith, I can't say that I'm familiar with Jocko or his work but I do know that there are many incredible opportunities to learn about growth though the lens of SEAL training! Have you implemented anything he discusses yourself?
1/2 Absolutely! The first book I read of his is called "Extreme Ownership," recommended to me by @bevan. It discusses how effective leadership involves taking extreme ownership of any mistakes made by the team and taking ownership of mistakes for personal growth.
@chucky Welcome to the platform! I'm a huge Jocko Willink fan. Are you familiar with his podcasts/books? He speaks a lot about discipline using examples from his Navy Seal training.
