What is some of the most thoughtful writing that's worth reading related to the future of publishing & microblogging in a decentralized internet? Any suggestions or must-reads?

3. Tipping. I like being able to tip content to say nice work. I would like microtips, maybe even a penny and I would like a stable coin (xDai Network could be great for microtips). Tipping has quietened down a fair bit though. I was doing tips back and forth.
I think the tipping experience is the one feature I’m most intrigued by to see what happens and what behaviors it causes.

2. Low level API I really liked as I had a way that no one could stop me. If I could access the internet & run my own IPFS and Ethereum nodes my actions couldn’t be stopped. Again learning more about Ethereum I could poke at the smart contract & learn how Peepeth was implemented
So the open API was interesting because it represented a chance to hack on it in the future? Kind of like having the ability to work on your car as a home mechanic?

1. Owning my own data was more the realisation that anyone has access to my Peepeth data (including future me, my mother and future employers). Which does mean I self censor.
So do you think of this as a benefit? The way you describe here sounds weighty and maybe something that is limiting?

Welcome Rob. Users owning their data, low level API that any third party can access, tipping, once a day reactions, no delete. Peepeth can’t out twitter twitter but can provide lots of learnings. You can always reach out to @Bevan (developer of Peepeth).
Thanks. Any thoughts on why any of these things (1. users own their own data, 2. low level API any 3rd party can use, 2. tipping, 3. 1x a day rxns, 4. no delete) have made using Peepeth interesting/valuable to you? [honest question -- curious what you see as the benefits]
I work in product management for one of the larger social media platforms. Interested to explore Peepeth to better understand what public conversation might look like when you change the rules & incentives.
