Ryan is a bcash salesman 🤦🏻♂️
Yes, but a lot of Bitcoin Cash people are actually quite receptive to Ethereum.

I tweeted him, maybe he'll come check it out!

Guess he hasn’t gotten the memo yet on Peepeth.

I believe that since the data is immutable, it is available for anybody to see and technically they could aggregate it if they wanted to.
Yes, this is what I was thinking. The data must be freely accessible to anyone that knows how to read it on chain.

I think it's great... that way you make sure that no one sells your data... Plus $0.01, it'll take me a long time until I peeped one buck away ;)
Is there anything that would keep Peepeth from selling the data? I am unfamiliar with the governance policy.

Working on building a 1-day financial literacy refresher for my classes. Mostly college juniors and graduating seniors. What would you include as things you wish you knew leaving college?
The power of compound interest.
Random thought: if Parity was the EOS ICO, would anyone want to help them?

Sure! The backend on-chain contract could allow for such approvals; or frontends could "collate" several accounts and display them as one. The former would be protocol-wide, the latter client-specific. I don't envy @bevan these design decisions. :)
It is easier to come up with these ideas than to implement them. :) My thought isn't Peepeth-specific, but something that all dapp developers may want to think about as a feature to add in.
4/ Under such a model, if one of the secondary accounts gets compromised, you could log back in from your primary identity account (ideally from a hardware wallet) and disable that secondary account in dapp.
3/ It seems like an unnecessary compromise to make your core identity account vulnerable just because you are using a new device- possibly only for a short time.
2/ Right now, you have to take the wallet that you signed up with and log into it from any additional device you use. What if one of those devices has a key logger on it? Your core identity account is now compromised.
1/ Just an idea until we have better wallets or identity management services: Could dapps like Peepeth allow you to authorize "secondary accounts," allowing you to use your same profile, but not necessarily be logged in from the same wallet address?

What if the goal of Ensō is to encourage a new, more thoughtful type of social media interaction? Our "human nature" on how we interact online isn't written into our DNA. It is up to us to be the change we want to see in the (social media) world! ;) #peeplosophy
Good point. You've earned my Enso for the day. :)

Ok, I've RTFM but can't figure out how to sign into Peepeth from Toshi, Cipher or Trust. I'm all set up on Chrome web browser with MetaMask on laptop but can't figure out how to post from the mobile tools. What am I missing that will make me say 'doh'?
Did you plug your same MetaMask seed words into Cipher?

What if making you gun shy is the intention? I do find myself waiting until midnight to give it out... What are everyone's thoughts on this?
Yes, I agree that is the reason, and it is good in concept. But human nature on social media involves going in and interacting with posts (and seeing others interact with your posts). It's hard for many to wait until midnight to offer Enso just once at the end of the day.
@bevan I'm loving Peepeth so far- what a great way to use Ethereum every day! Just curious: any thoughts on increasing the amount of Enso that can be offered from once per day to maybe two or three times today? I find I'm getting gun shy with just one Enso per day.
Catching up with what was discussed the Taipei Meetup a couple of weeks ago. Sharding panel starts 7 mins in, with a broader research discussion later: https://youtu.be/ilsjZAtUUvQ

You can crosspost from twitter to here, or only from here to twitter?
I believe only from Peepeth to Twitter.

Peep Ethereum Peep https://www.trustnodes.com/2018/04/16/peep-ethereum-peep
Great overview of the platform. I think it was very smart of Peepeth to incorporate a linkage to Twitter from day one, allowing for one click crossposting. I plan to post from Peepeth whenever I can moving forward.
