so our class on fruit purees was held here today. a beautiful little historical gem in the heart of berkeley, near the university, originally opened as a women's activity center in 1927. gorgeous architecture, original fixtures, and so much charm. perfect. #pastrypeep

Absolutely! Do you have any kind of similar experience? :)
the closest i've come to seeing nudity in public was walking by some folks at the beach in hawaii. it's illegal there (except for at a few designated areas) but they weren't hurting anyone. and in that instance we also came across a turtle, and i don't think he cared either. π

@pluma and @voyager : I'm liking "Mandy" and "Sandy"; Mandy for the bass and Sandy for the guitar (since the guitar is sort of earthy in color). As long as their namesakes are badass as you say, then I'm all in!
that's exactly how i saw 'em too! great minds. ;)

I always wondered why people love living in a single season all year round. Sure, they may not want a seven month long, Canadian winter, but fall and spring are such beautiful seasons, especially fall! Experiencing two or more seasons ftw. :D
living in the tropics had its benefits (less winter depression, more exposure to natural sunlight, etc) but yeah, it gets very monotone sometimes for those of us who didn't grow up there lol. change is good!

@pluma and @voyager : For reference for the naming process, here is what the guitar and bass look like. Seven- and five-string, respectively:
mandy & sandy, after two badass chicks i know irl. :)

I was shocked at first, but I grew to find it beautiful. No one stared or made it weird. Itβs truly a normal part of life there. After I had a few drinks at that restaurant, I undressed by the river and jumped in. A family of 4 joined me, which changed my brain forever.
being open to positive new experiences is vital to life!

Stressed beyond belief. Iβm usually the last person to get stressed, but with a new job, first time LPN, clinicals at the mental hospital, and studying for these crazy ambiguous exams, Iβm maxed out. Oh, to be 23 again!
you got this, dude! you are doing great work. most importantly, you are helping people on a daily basis. hang tough, the exams and clinicals will pass and you will be able to ease more comfortably into the next stage of your career and life.

Right?! I sure hope so! Haha. The one redeeming aspect is that nudity is totally normal and acceptable in Scandinavian countries. Iβll never forget how weird it felt to be at an upscale restaurant by the river in town, with naked people sunbathing 10 feet away.
that's so awesome. love that attitude. i mean, your food/experience wasn't really ruined by them, was it? doesn't sound like it. π

Haha, good humans. Iβm s bad human, because after hiking 6 hours and not seeing a single soul, I went skinny dipping in one of the mountaintop lakes and suddenly a father and daughter came over the ridge. He made a point to shame me for swimming in drinking water π π¬
impeccable timing. πi'm sure you're forgiven, though!

Iβll take that as a compliment! Haha. It looks pretty undisturbed down there. People really cherish their mountain lakes here, as they are used for drinking water.
