Very impressive! How do you avoid the temptation to sync email accounts, install mobile social apps, and apps like WhatsApp (things friends/family expect us to use)?
I am also curious to know how one gets around the need to be in contact with friends and family that do not yet use alternative platforms?

From a development standpoint I think decentralisation encourages a lot of creativity, I mean just look at projects like Scuttlebutt (and Peepeth). To me it cements the idea that there isn't one right way to do things and that rather all these platforms should work together

So for me the biggest thing is the permanence. It really shakes things up. I think it encourages less self promotion, which in my opinion is not what social media was designed for, but what we all use it for currently. There are other aspects that I find exciting too.

Just goes to show that we need to focus on knowledge sharing more!
I am a streamer, content creator and developer currently living in South Africa. I believe that streamers and content creators have a duty to their community/audience to educate and uplift and show them why platforms like Peepeth are important to the community as a whole
