Welcome, Sanko. I'm going to go on a limb here and assume you will not be able to verify via Twitter

I created a unique ETH address only for Peepeth and sure enough, I'm starting to receive spammy token airdrops. People seem to always find a way to advertise, no matter the medium.
Are you referring to the DEEZ tokens? Those are given out for free by @bob for your donation to the malaria prevention campaign.

On some people's profile, there's like a little dollar note thing with numbers next to it. What is this? Is this from 'tips'? (Not fishing for tips, btw). @bevan?
It represents the amount of tips a person has received

View your transaction on Etherscan. On transaction input, press convert to ASCII. Copy the IPFS hash (starts with Qm) to the end of this URL https://gateway.ipfs.io/ipfs/ For batches, then grab each IPFS hash.
Thanks, Andrew! That is awesome!

agree!, any suggestions for names @peepeth ?
What about just EtherLink. Your product seems to be about sending Ether and the "Link" denotes connecting it between people

I just sent a note to Feedback on the bottom of the page and was charged usage. One improvement suggestion is for Peepeth to at least pay for product Feedback post #peepeth #feedback
Paul - I just tested out the feedback button to see what happened and it went through with out any charge.

To the peeps stored on-chain, anyone can access. I looked this all up on mobile just using etherscan and an IPFS gateway.
Andrew - Could you provide some additional info how you were able to get that peep on ipfs? Maybe a quick step by step - if possible. Would love to learn how to do it. Thanks

do others have predictions of when Peep posts will be instant? Is this 2 years out? 5 years? never? I understand short-term performance issues, but I am trying to understand when this service can take 20% of Twitter volume/users
Paul, Peep posts are currently instant. Making them permanent/immutable is when you save to the blockchain.

Hello @everyone on Peepeth! I'm haulin from Suriname South America and I have had a need to fart my brainwaves by way of microblogging for years. What makes Peepeth better than Twitter?

I wonder if there’s a way to net the cost on the platform so that it appears free e.g. allow advertisers to pay us for ads/surveys.
I'm sure it's technically possible. However, there would need to be a certain number of users for any advertiser to be interested. Additionally, by requiring an monetary outlay (albeit small) it prevents unlimited posts clogging up the platform

Is there anything that would keep Peepeth from selling the data? I am unfamiliar with the governance policy.
I believe that since the data is immutable, it is available for anybody to see and technically they could aggregate it if they wanted to.
I'm in "Save to blockchain" purgatory. Gas needed to save quickly is rising. Clicked on "Cheapest" and I've been waiting 2 1/2 hrs and it's estimated conf. time is 3hr 44 min. Have to save each post until it clears..

1/2 While having a cost associated with the service vs free is something to consider for someone who is thinking about joining, the ability to batch upload 15 actions rather than every action provides cost savings. For example, my last batch upload cost me less than 1/2 of a cent
2/2 - Using a 1/2 cent U.S., that means I could have 3000 actions for $1.00 or 30,000 for $10.00.

I'm still concerned that consumer adoption of Peepth will be materially impacted by users paying for every tx. Are there other Blockchain B2C apps to learn from? Would a pricing model, say, for $10/year, for unlimited use and cost (like AWS fees) by the vendor, work?

Peepethsphere, @flex has an SLA 3D printer (Formlabs Form 1+) that I picked up for a steal on impulse at a police auction. Might use it for a crypto project where we allow people to pay for prints in ETH, but for now we're taking suggestions on what to print, give us some inspo.
How about the Peepeth mascot similar to the way it appears onscreen so that you can hang in on the corner of your laptop?

This was a good discussion. You could imagine that Peepeth _could_ be taken over by hate speech, racism, or severe discrimination. But there would be no way of stopping that because of the decentralized nature. Do you see that something like that could be a potential problem?
Pat - Peepeth is the front end and is censorable. While there doesn't seem to be any implemented filtering at the moment, it could be added .
