Read @vbuterin's take on going to the extremes or seeking compromises. An interesting philosophical/technical text.

I'm feeling grateful that I can spend this rainy day #coding at home, with #ShadowTheCat. đť
That mechanical keyboard looks awesome, just as the whole arrangement.

Some piece of code that might be useful if you organize your photos/videos yourself into directories named by date and year.
I don't like Google Photos. I don't like "galleries".

@bevan loving the platform so far. Wonder if this would be available on smartphones as well in the future. also testing testing 1212 haha
You can use Status.im explorer to access it on phone (beta Android application is available on Google Play).
If you have used MetaMask to open your account on the browser, you can use the mnemonic words of MetaMask backup to open Status and get the same address/wallet/account.

Would it be good to have â later â an option to choose which tags to hide automatically in the feed? Just like #politics, some may hide #nsfw.
Okay, you've got me here. It's already working.
Looks like this platform is a step ahead!

See how that works @ChiliMac - then people can choose to see what we're engaging about or not. Thoughts on that implementation?

Batched 7 actions (now 8). "Save to blockchain" prompt says: "Your Peeps are currently saved to IPFS and on Peepeth's servers, but are not indexed on the blockchain. Saving to the blockchain will make your Peeps available to anybody." What exactly will be saved to the blockchain?
That's what I've deduced after reading the transaction data, yes.
So the data is still on IPFS and only a "link" to access them is stored on the blockchain. That's pretty smart! I was worried that it might save media on the ledger.
Thank you for your answers, @abcoathup, @Kumaran

Peeping feels harder than posting on other (and deprecated) social media. There is responsibility taken for every move, and having to pay gas makes you reconsider and thoroughly contemplate your actions before submitting them.

There's something beautiful here on Peepeth. It reminds me of IRC back in the 90's; that feeling of being in a room with people and just taking part in conversations. If the platform grows, that might change. But I'll certainly appreciate what we have now, while we have it.
True that Peepeth feels calm, even soothing; probably because only people who are interested in the technology and what it will bring to the world are interested in joining, for now.
