You can now try out @athereum by @avalabsofficial in WallETH. For some context you might want to watch the @EFDevcon talk by @el33th4xor
It is the fastest testnet so far and a glimpse in a bright future.
Some news about WallETH from the Berlin Ethereum Meetup last month at @cbase
Featuring @Keycard_ , @WalletConnect , @Trezor and more
Oh nice - someone at google is looking at the reproducible build problem when using jetifier. In WallETH we now use the workaround to disable the jetifier - but this can be great for other projects that do not want or can do this.
Görli TestNet support just landed on the @trezor model T with firmware 2.1.1 - and should also be available on Model1 with firmware 1.8.1 which was just recently published. No more "unknown" - Görli as a first class citizen ..-)
At todays Berlin Ethereum Meetup @cbase you can open a box with @walletconnect and get goodies like drink vouchers (good for mate, beer and more), @ethstatus @Keycard_ hardware wallets and stickers!
In the next iteration of WallETH with revamped account management this is the first screen a user will see after installing. Lots of choices on the trade-off between security and convenience. Also adopted the wonderful term burner wallet inspired by the works of @austingriffith

Onboarding with görli test ether is now much smoother as a result of a @getgitcoin bounty and work by @thereapman of @slockitproject
All building on the on the libre faucet by @poanetwork
You also now get TST tokens to play with by the goerli pusher.
WallETH recently changed from etherscan to blockscout as the external blockexplorer reference. Main reason was that blockscout is open source. But also the support for more networks. Change actually came when introducing goerli. It was on blockscout before being on etherscan,
WallETH now supports @walletconnect 1.0.0
Would love to test it with more dApps - so if you know any dApp that supports WalletConnect 1.0.0 (especially ones working on goerli) - let us know! Also happy about testing staging dapps with support for 1.0.0
WallETH now supports these networks: main, görli, rinkeby, ropsten, kovan, POA, sokol, ETC and xDAI
We are living in a multi chain world - what network do you think is missing?

Interesting - people now build Bitcoin wallets on top of the WallETH source code - the power of open source I guess ;-)
I consider it a regression - but people are free - it's GPL. As long as they publish the source code - which I do not find currently :-(
Want to learn about ΛNK (automated documentation) and earn 180DAI in the process? Grab this @GetGitcoin bounty and set up ΛNK for KEthereum (the @kotlin library behind @wallethapp)
There needs to be more microBlogging - so sharing a screenshot ;-) Also see the @walletconnect notification icon on top. A new feature since the WalletConnect 0.7 adaption that came with WallETH 0.42.9 (which should have been microblogged - social media help very welcome)
FWIW - the @github WallETH organisation now has this verified badge https://github.com/walleth. We had this for our commits already before (PGP signed commits) - now also for the domain. Verify all the things ;-)
The next version of WallETH has the option to prevent screenshots for privacy and security reasons. Thanks to leafcutterant for the suggestion! https://github.com/walleth/walleth/issues/300
Please keep suggestions like this coming - user-feedback is very important!
If you are at #ethmagicians in Prague before #devcon today - you might want to join these sessions:
https://ethereum-magicians.org/t/1700
and
https://ethereum-magicians.org/t/1693
Also bring your ideas and topics! We have some but are open to more. This is an unconference..-)
In the next version of WallETH you will be able to customize the toolbar. This is not only eye-candy and hopefully appease users that dislike the current colors - but also a step to mitigate potential phishing problems in the future.
Is there a way to get the github verification for an organisation? So some alternative to creating a gist. As far as I know it is not possible to create a gist as organisation. Creating a repository with a file like containing the content of the gist could work - cc @Bevan
