At current gas costs, you can post 15 peeps for about $0.02 USD.. That is less that a penny for your thoughts! @bevan has also mentioned exploring a pool of resources to allow those with limited access to ETH and less fortunate peeple access to charitable funds for peeping. ;)
Would be curious to hear more about that @bevan

although the implicit costs of using centralized services like twitter are far higher, explicit costs (gas costs to post to blockchain) are a big hurdle for wide spread consumer adoption for something like Peepeth
paying for #number of actions can also lead to aristocracy of opinion (wealthier people can post more) or can be a great quality filter

I suppose it will depend on the community doing the moderating. Haven't you ever posted something controversial to the bitcoin reddit? It's removed in a matter of seconds!
What about an account that posts on the public peepeth feed though? Will original team be responsible for that, a selected group of individuals, others?
Platforms such as peepeth enable people to monetize the attention they are generating through content curation. In contrast to advertising-based monetization, focus is on quality of content

This has come up many times, most probably because it is a very legitimate concern. The blockchain is uncensorable, but the individual front-ends are free to censor content. Individual communities can curate the content. Most communities will censor things illegal or hateful.
On concern with community curation is that the process of doing so risks being longwinded and inefficient.
this has a very cozy feel to it
