Additionally,I've been working the last few days on packaging the server monitoring solution #Munin ( https://munin-monitoring.org ) for the #OpenIndiana repository as useful monitoring information is absolutely required for running reliable servers.

I'm currently working on upgrading the Gstreamer1 packages in the #OpenIndiana software repository to the latest version 1.20.1.

I guess I should try to use this more.I'm looking into #Peepeth every day,but there's not that much I have to say.Ok,some updates on what I've been doing in the open source world recently...

Anyway,if nothing goes terribly wrong,I may get the GTK-based #Matrix client Fractal packaged for #OpenIndiana by this evening.Having a useful client for a modern messenger protocol will be a huge milestone.

Why do #Python package dependencies always have to be so complicated? :( That's already the third time I'm stuck at some Python issues while packaging additional #Gstreamer modules for #OpenIndiana

Unix package dependencies can be really complicated sometimes :/ I've been trying to update the gstreamer packages on #OpenIndiana for hours now.pkgdepend just doesn't find libGL.so.1 and libEGL.so.1 but they exist and it already compiled fine with them.

Trying to do some work on the #OpenIndiana software repository today.It's always difficult to find out the correct dependencies to make the local package manifest match with the one from the build server,but I'm learning and making progress.
