What's up peepeth?! How's world cup for you?
People go buy ether, I'm pretty sure it's going to be worth thousands at some point. It has immense potential. I was saying this when Ethereum was $100 too

Hi world
Hello ease, welcome to the decentralised world!
I'm at a crypto event at GA in London: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/cryptocurrencys-journey-into-mainstream-culture-tickets-45588000938

I haven't seen the possibility to attach a license or change the name of the artwork and I do not plan to create another token with the same image. But if someone tokenizes the same image again.. can it get identified as "forgery" comparing the token quantity?
If the smart contract creates a hash of the image it should, although even if they change one pixel the has is gonna change and be different...
@bevan when you scroll on the phone, posts get blue highlights. I'm not sure how you could fix that but would be a nicer experience if it didn't.
I think one of the good things about having to pay transaction fees is not getting spammed by useless posts like what is happening on Twitter

This should have the nice side effect of taking away a huge advantage of existing internet behemoths with troves of siloed data. Leveling the playing field is good - lessening the ability of a single organization to influence democracies or steer personal decisions is *great*.
I agree but, if the dapps aren't used by the wider public those ideals won't ever become reality. So we need dapps models are actually usable by everyday people

The trade-off is that you are paying that transaction fee thus you are funding the service. There's hundreds of companies that will give you a free service by selling your data to advertisers. No ads needed when you control the transactions.
Yea that's true, I was thinking of the same thing, you have a choice of keeping your off the hands of big corporations. Although on the blockchain everything is public so does it matter at the end...
Does dapps with their transaction fees mean only people who don't mind losing a few cents here and there would be using them!?

Yeah I had a feeling it wasn't by design. It's happening on both Firefox and Chrome. Odd. Latest Linux Mint. Fresh install of Chrome too so default settings intact. Imported phrase to Toshi and it works fine, no need to re-enter phrase.
Another issue with metamask is the fact that "copy my private key" button is so close to the one for public address. I'm sure many people got easily scammed by that

I was hoping it would take longer for Peepeth to attract this kind of thing: accounts impersonating reputable projects and predicting coins will go “to the moon.” The most charitable interpretation is this is a joke in poor taste.
Haha that took long
Let's see if this dapps gonna take over the social media... Not so likely imo

I use #peepeth within the #toshi browser/wallet on #ios. It would be interesting to know through what channel other people access peepeth. Has this question already been asked, is there already a thread? Cheers. 🍻
I use trust, so far the best and most reliable at least on Android
Another pic from south London, train in a dodgy alleyway
I wonder how many people are on peepeth so far?
My first pic of London on peepeth!
Keep up the great work, so far the best ether wallet on mobile!
