By claiming that offensive speech or offensive ideas authorize violence, you authorize violence against yourself when others find your speech or your ideas equally offensive. And that can only lead to civil war.

Most of our interactions with each other involve fully consensual exchanges and transactions. That's our normal social behavior. Once we collectively realize the fact that that's normal human behavior, we'll also then realize that nothing else is needed. Nor wise.
