BOOM. Exactly. And the work @Bevan is doing is not just for Peepeth - alternative frontends will be a focus. There *will* be other front ends.

Pat - Peepeth is the front end and is censorable. While there doesn't seem to be any implemented filtering at the moment, it could be added .
Thanks for the response. Just for clarification. The Peepeth front end is censorable. Meaning there is some centralized party making the decision to censor certain content. If I don't like their censorship I build my own front end or join a different one (if there is one).

I think all of what you said is wise - worth peeping and pondering. The only true defense I can think of is education - as cliché as it sounds. If people reject concentrations of power on principle, then I hope we can at least incrementally improve the current state of the world
This was a good discussion. You could imagine that Peepeth _could_ be taken over by hate speech, racism, or severe discrimination. But there would be no way of stopping that because of the decentralized nature. Do you see that something like that could be a potential problem?
