What do the leaders of all the major religions on earth think about the Hong Kong situation? Do they accept XI Jinping's claim to totalitarian authority over Hong Kong? Over China? Over Taiwan? Over Tibet? Do any major religions condemn totalitarianism? Is anyone watching?
If no one want to resist Xi Jinping's desire for the land of Hong Kong, then how about we help evacuate Hong Kong of any person who does not want to be imprisoned under Totalitarian control. We can find space for 8 million people somewhere right?

The only way that trapping a life in a perfect but false simulation of reality is ethical is if the trap is set for the benefit of the people in it. The simulation runner must believe they are helping conscious lives "grow" or "get ready for reality". (Valid or not)
This leads to the basic philosophical question, who should know the truth about reality? Everyone? A few people? Can we handle the truth? Will our world crumble into chaos if too many of our fundamental ideas are questioned?

If you were able to create a simulation of one of more human lives, would it be ethical to do so? Is it ethical to put a person in a deceptive environment for your own personal amusement/enrichment/reward?

If you were able to create a perfect simulation of a human civilization (like in the matrix) on your computer, and allow that simulation to run for say the years 1500-2100...would you keep a detailed record of every single event that ever happened so you could go back and study?

to make this even more potent...if we are in a simulation, then what are the odds that death is death for you and all your currently supposedly "dead" relatives? Why would you create a simulation and then destroy all the conscious lives right at the moment the life gets wise?
It would cost the simulation nothing to allow a human life to at the very least, watch their entire life back in vivid detail and probably let them watch the lives of their descendants until they died and joined them at the life rewatching party.

if the answer to this is yes, then everything we ever say or do...and probably think is recorded someone in the simulation database. So, if you were an atheist before this realization, you now need to remember you are not alone when you think you are alone.

Until recently, the only thing that made the pen mightier than the sword was the comfort in knowing that truth written down was likely to eventually be recognized, no matter how much violence tries to sqaush it. Yet, we are still waiting on a lot of such comforting ends....
Truth is mightier than the pen and the sword, since truth needs neither. The truth is the truth, regardless of what you write, regardless of who you threaten or who threatens you. Truth doesn't care if it upsets you or your thought leaders. Truth just sits there being true.

Now that your words are not only written in pen, but also can be recorded on a blockchain which is uncensorable, unblockable, effectively indestructible, then i'd say the pen is now much more mightier than the sword than it's ever been. Now we just need to wait..
Now that we have the eternal blockchain, we just need to wait until humans with some real answers to some really important questions come out of hiding and start speaking up, with the comfort of knowing no matter how many doubt your truth, it can not be unsaid.

Is hypnosis real?
Why are some people more susceptible to hypnosis than others?
Can someone be hypnotized to the point of total mind control? How easy is it to master such a skill? Can anyone do it?
Who has weaponized hypnosis?

Now that we have indestructible communication platform options, tested through years of ferocious gaming, debating, splitting, and spitting. We can now just ask every question that needs an answer. The key is start with the most important questions.
I am using Peepeth.com as my primary communication medium for issues I find important, because it is currently the fastest blockchain based publishing tool. Anyone know a faster blockchain publishing tool? Reply to this comment with suggestions if you do please. :)

As a teenager I began discussing these ultimate truths with religious leaders and others...
When I was elected to join the Jefferson Healthcare board of commissioners I experienced my first taste of wielding institutional power. I quickly was shown that a good question is easily defeated by a filibuster in the short term, but a good question remains a good question.

@dazzledaniels Hi! I'm testing out this send a peep to someone feature....is this private or public? I dunno...
There was a boy named Wonder,
who bested me in all we did.
We each left home in search of the truth,
He went to Albany, I went to Bristol.
Whoever finds it might write it down somewhere someday....
Where oh where might it be written where someone will be able
to find it?
“I wish I had the confidence of a mediocre white male.”
“I wish I could write something down and press save and know it would be saved until the end of the human technological lineage chain is broken by a meteor hitting the matrix computer hub...but Norton Matrix backup expired.
There once was a man named John Everett
He had a friend named Sutherland,
They each named a lake and were immortalized forever!
Until a couple lads changed Lake Everett to Lake Crescent,
Cause you didn't record the name on the Blockchain John Everett!
"Hmmm..."
"Wow. You've blown my mind."
"But you didn't do what I said?" "Uh huh...."
"Cruising speed."
"You've got to be kidding me."
"Onward! Tally Ho!"

If the immutable, uncensorable, and immortal power of the blockchains are used to extract truly wise collective action by humanity on mass...that could be interesting.
If all of humanity could have faith that following a specific path to a specific truth was reliable, how many would give it a go? If only Satoshi had explained what step 2 was after creating a global blockchain currency...

I decided a while back, that I agreed with meditation teacher and former Buddhist Monk Jason Siff, that thoughts are not the enemy. But I think we must acknowledge oppression, the abuse of power, as an enemy of happiness for all. And we must see that allowing oppression...
Allowing oppression to thrive or to increase its reach into the world of the free, is a failure of our collective humanity. We may be approaching a singular moment where such atrocious behavior simply will no longer be allowed.
