Hi Stephan we used the underground for construction workers during a typhoon this year. I am not sure about homeless shelters in the city, but I guess there should be several.
In Montreal, is the Stats seem to show that about 88% of the homeless population uses community or government resources. I do not judge their decision. I was also one of those that did not use shelters, will have video of why next weekend. I cater to that group, street 24/24.

Thank you for the Enso. Very appreciated after a research of its meaning! :) We are a few of millions around the world that help their community. We are everywhere. Even in your community. Especially with Toronto. Have ties with Native Homeless Initiatives in Toronto. :)

The friends feed is people you follow. The new feed is the firehose of all peeps. You can mute peepsters. (I peep a lot). This life is but fleeting.
π
Is see no benefit peeping 50 times in 30 minutes. Therefore, I neither see a raison to peep at all since there will be no visibility after 2 minutes.
This community seems to small still. You see posts mostly from a small group of users that interact between each other. Hope other and nee members get more visibility when more "strangers" come along.

I love the way you help the homeless. Thankfully we have only a low population of homeless here. And they get a good amount of help currently. There is even a Christmas "party" for them to get a bit of the feeling and crowding.
Thank is so cool. On Christmas day, social status shouldn't matter. Here, they have "Christmas" meals, but never on actual Christmas. On the day, there is nothing for them. They are alone in the cold. My 3-4 hrs giving out hot chocolate and clean socks. I love it, the smiles!

Just want to say Thank you to @Bevan for building peepeth. There is so much joy and peace in here that we (my wife and I) got inspired and baked some Christmas cookies for the "Tafel" in our city. They're for the people with less to no income. Thanks also to all for inspiration.
That Rocks! We here distribute Socks and Hot Beverages to the homeless population in Montreal. Keep giving and provided amazing smiles. Showing we care provides Faith for them. :)

Remember to follow me for great video of our Socks&Coffee run for the homeless.
Goooood morning Peepers.
Wake up. Kick ass. Be kind. Repeat!
Doing something for 1 stranger in a day will enlightened it. For example, rainy day? Bring 2 umbrella. On your commute, offer your extra umbrella to someone in dire need of one. ;)
We are all, just a ball of emotion.

If you leave home just a little earlier it can save you a lot of stress from the busy morning rush. This metro station would be crowded some 10-15 minutes later.
Hi Charles,
Great advise. What Asian country is this? Question, I work with the homeless in Canada where Metro Station are used to shelter themselves. Do you have that happen, homeless utilizing the Metro?
Thanks for sharing and have a great Hump Day!

Hi Peeps, we are looking for any help acquiring socks for homeless people. Will be distributing them with sandwiches and hot chocolate on actual Christmas day.
Any company or retailer feel generous and shipping us some Socks!
Hi Peep community!
My name is Stephan. I live in Montreal, Canada. Happy father of 3 kids and my wife. Yet, once upon a time, my life wasn't as pretty. I was homeless for 6 years in this Nordic city.
With the help of stranger's, I was able to achieve so much. Now, I give back.π
Hi Peepers!
Happy to be part of the community and learning about humanitarian causes around the world.
I help the homeless population of Montreal. I really have a unique distribution logistics. I serve my past Brothers and Sisters directly on the streets. The hidden ones. βΊοΈ
