Discovery starts by not understanding what you observe. Science helps us bridge the gap in pursuit of increasingly accurate explanations from increasingly accurate models.

Reminder to myself to more frequently ask people what they observe but cannot yet explain.

These platforms will hopefully be a calmer version of Twitter. Ad-based systems distract and annoy, treating your attention as the asset. Being free from distraction is the real asset to incentivize around.

Libraries are an under-appreciated and underpriced asset. They are buildings where anyone can think, read, and work distraction-free in silence, surrounded by information access portals.

As we scale noisy spaces, we must scale calm spaces.
