Welcome Terence. You can create your own front end and call it terenceworld or anything you like. The name is like marmite, love it or hate it. https://peepeth.com/front_end
Is the code open source? Haven't been able to find it on github.

Not really immutable if it requires nodes on IPFS to hold the tweet. I.e. if nodes stop sharing (a la bittorent files no one ever downloads), those peeps stop existing
Note I am assuming that IPFS is storing the peep while the blockchain stores the hash from IPFS. I don't see a peepeth github repo so I can't confirm that's how it works...

The *immutable aspect of it is kind of nice :)

yeah i'd like a clear answer for this. i get having the posts hashed on chain makes the posts immutible and linked to an identity. also makes it easy to build new frontents. but if that database was just stored on IPFS could people just rewrite the posts if they wanted? idk
Right, I think I get it... if it just uses IPFS then we don't know the tweets that exist. I.e. hash X points to the tweets I've made but hash Y points to a newer list of tweets I've made later. How do people know hash Y exists? They look to blockchain. I suppose that's why?
Is there a github for peepeth?
This is probably answered somewhere but why a blockchain? Why not just use IPFS?

Welcome Terence 😊 Nah, perhaps it sounds like that to a small group of people, but not too the most of us. Enjoy your peeping 😋
Lol! Didn't mean to be offensive. I sorta didn't expect anyone to see my 'peep' for some reason! Btw I thought signing every tx would be annoying but this isn't that bad at all. Great job!
Can we change the name of peepeth? It sounds like a peeping tom.
