Interesting that Peepeth.com is hosting this on AWS. I assume the image is also sent to IPFS.

The open nature of Peepeth feels good. You don't need to use the website to read the posts, so theoretically you can use other apps to read and write.
It also goes a step further than Mastodon which is server based, where IPFS is peer based.
I still need to research IPFS.

Reading about IPFS, the content host under Peepeth, feels very familiar. It sounds very similar to other distributed web projects like I2P and Freenet.
These services lacked in speed, trust, and was home to a lot of shady content.
Interested to learn what makes IPFS unique.

A Twitter clone isn't new, but one on Blockchain (sourced from IPFS) with frontend moderation is interesting. Happy to be here, join in, and learn more.
