Never loved Opera but I have to say that I tried it almost 20 years ago. I guess user experience has been improved during these years. I love Firefox but I should give Opera another chance.
But i did hear that there working on intergrating ipfs and ens. And i saw a tweet from brendan that bave is also working on ipfs.
But honestly i like brave because its open source and i can nerd out on tor tabs and in browser torrents. but its less stable then firefox for me.

I haven't tried opera on desktop. I was talking about how it wins on the mobile dapp browser case.
Gotta say opera has a way better dapp browser experience then trust for now. Multiple tabs, dark mode and a add to home screen option for progressive web apps like peepeth!

And why can't you fork it with just ipfs?
And peepeth doesn't have a real incentive to share the hashes in a way that forking would be possible. Because they can keep a monopoly like Facebook has.

And why can't you fork it with just ipfs?
So in short. With blockchain censorship resistant. Without not but cheaper.

You can but then you have to trust peepeth to give you the ipfs hashes. And peepeth could censor certain tweets. But if the hashes are on the block chain peepeths front end might censor the tweets but ethereum doesn't. So with block chain you could recover censored tweets.

and use IPFS as storage? I mean batching tx is great to save money, but let's be real: 99% of tweets are not worth a penny. if there is no way to make them free on ethereum, just use it as account base. also, peepeth is not open/invite only, which makes it centralized
While it's true that tweets arn't worth shit. There is a big advantages to saving them to the block chain.
Because it means that anyone can fork peepeths frontend. In contrast to Facebook where people won't move to a other service because all there friends and memories are on it.

Apparently, the park managers' response to volunteers trying to feed the animals was 'we shouldn't interfere with nature's way'. Instead, many starving animals were shot dead by hunters. I can't but see a double standard here. Why not feed, then relocate the animals?
Relocating could cost a lot of money. But maybe people could make fund for that for next winter! And yes that is a double standard. The parks are far from "natures ways" anyway haha. But I still think it was best option they had at the time.

Thousands of horses and deer have been killed this winter by the managers of a nature park in Oostvaardersplassen in the Netherlands. Animal cruelty is unacceptable! https://twitter.com/martijn57/status/984667605331054592?s=21
It is! But they were killed because of ethical reasons. They were killed because there wasn't enough food in the winter due to overpopulation. Only those who wouldn't survive anyway were killed. Yes it is cruel but the least cruel of all options. Unless there analysis was wrong.
Im learning solidity and google is just trying to help lol.

Anyone else have CryptoKitties and would like to be gifted a pet?
Yes. I already have some but wouldn't mind adopting another one!
Peepeth could be heaven for those "send 0.1 ETH" scam bots.
