Hello from the start of 2021. Current prices (USD) for BTC ~34822, ETH ~1153, ADA ~.30.

It's been awhile since I visited here. Hello.
Presentation by @fred at @svvr 55 of @multiverse updates.

I only have one 15 minute meeting a week :-)
I’ll grab lunch at 1. This is a decent day in that I’m not double-booked much.

the way the developer/company handled the release of this game was pretty abysmal. hard to be a gamer and trust them after that.
The “Next” version is vastly better than previous ones. There are still bugs but I’ve been enjoying the multiplayer with friends.

This gets asked a lot... It must've bubbled up to the top of @bevan's dev list by now. The only reason I can think of why it's not here yet is the back-end contract not supporting it directly. Could be worked around in the front-end by introducing a new message type...
I’d really like this feature too. I have several different Twitter accounts for different communities of people and would like similar functionality (easily) here.

2 out of 2 Windows PCs decided to change their DNS servers to 0.0.0.0 today.
Well that seems suboptimal.

Nice 👍

Ran a bit more than 5K and it felt good..so good..pam pam pam paaam! 🎺 I get surprised every time when starting running after a longer brake how natural it feels. I started with a Couch25K plan and I can definitely see the difference in the results. @Bevan @theoldsparrow @pluma
Make sure to have a big plate of fettuccini Alfredo before your next run for extra energy!

It was hard to believe that the distance is not the problem when #running, it's the mind getting bored (as I run around a stadium). I listen to podcasts, mostly @infinitumcast (Alek and Miki, time to discover new frontiers, check out Peepeth.com) and that helps.
This is my problem with the treadmill, too. I made a new rule I wouldn't watch new TV unless I was on the treadmill. So I'm backed up in The Expanse, Wrecked, and The Handmaid's Tail.
It does the job of motivating me though 👍

I absolutely agree. Thank you for sharing; I'm sure a lot of people share your frustration with the repetitious forms.
:) And it's not so much the inconvenience of repetitive forms, it's just that they leave off a lot of context/history. There's a single checkbox for (for example):
☑️Heart problems
!! You've lost a lot of extra detail there!

Could you try perhaps installing Trust or Coinbase Wallet for iOS and once you import your seed for that address try the verification process once again?
There are some features that aren't quite _there_ on mobile. Sending invites is one. Twitter verification may be another.

When you leave the hospital, your medical record blockchain is held by you, and a segment of that chain is held by the hospital for their own audit records. But the data is never visible on the public internet; it's entirely controlled by you.
I'd just be happy to not have to remember my entire history -- and put it on an awkward form -- every time I visit a new specialist. I get why that data can't be shared doctor <-> doctor, but I'd like to use a private key to sign permission for the new doc to get my file.
Marcona almonds are the superior almond and I’m willing to commit that fact to the Ethereum blockchain.

PLEASE STAND CLEAR OF THE DOORWAY. (Fun fact: when I worked there (long ago), legend was the guy that voiced the monorail worked there, and if you asked nicely and gave him your VM pin, he would record a voicemail greeting for you. See kids, "voicemail" was this thing ba
FWIW I'm mortified I didn't close my parens.
@bevan Feature request: until peeps are signed, allow editing. 😮

From FL originally. It'll always be home. Currently residing in the DC area. I remember taking the monorail out to see Spaceship Earth when they were building it.
Monorail? That's more of a Shelbyville idea.
Seriously tho, I grew up in Tampa, then went to UCF for 2 degrees, then worked at Disney, then lived in Celebration for awhile. For me it's the same... sweaty, flat Florida will always feel like home.
@natestipe Are you in Florida? Your profile pic is Spaceship Earth and your wallpaper looks like the Everglades. (I moved to CA from south Orlando)

I'd also like to point out that more than $2,000 has been donated to the Against Malaria Foundation all because of Peepeth, @Bevan, and this amazing community of Peeple! 🐧
Thanks for the reminder. Donated!

OK! Got Toshi... errr... Coinbase Wallet set up and funded some. Peepeth is fairly functional in it so I’ll give that a go. Thanks to those who responded. 🥂

Granted this is in Australian dollars (it's around $65) but that still seems like a lot for 45 minutes in VR to me.
If ETH is not a security, then what's the tax treatment?

Peepeth the platform has some potential, but the name itself is... not good. The _best_ response I got from friends was "Haha that's weird" and then it went downhill from there.

Also doable by using the same mnemonic seed for Metamask and Cipher.
Sure, but these are workarounds, eh? Ideally peepeth would know that 0x18d70b75d71C9B95d2F4a2B434Cd677c33b016E1 and 0x3B4AE77C30702a618108751B9b56E583FB3C46a6 are both "me". But I should be able to have n addresses tied to one identity.
