One of the things I like about #akasha is the ability to construct the "front" page with many feeds ( following, #photography, etc)

I'd send it to a friend's metamask wallet to convince them to sign up to peepeth. People go mental, at the mention of needing to have some small money on a wallet for social media.

Why when I post a url to a youtube video, it does not embed in my message, instead it shows only the link to click? I see most other posts with embedded youtube video.
I think you need to post a few peeps to get promoted to do that (i think i read that somewhere around here).

I noticed all the videos of the game are in 3rd person now - can you still play in first person?
You can, but much more enjoyable in third person. But you can definitely switch modes (both for walking and flying).

Does anyone know how to get Peepeth set up on the Status dApp browser if I set it up on a desktop?
I tried but someone suggested to use Trust instead of status. But I think you need to simply when creating a new wallet import the private seed from the wallet you use on the desktop. That'd what I did on Trust and it worked.

I did. Curious to see this project grow. Even before cyptos I dreamed and debated open source/peer to peer models of social networks. I always wanted to see something done regarding current model (centralised, private, exploitative, manipulative)

Hey Luis, my favorite mobile wallet/web3 browser is #Trust Wallet but I know a few others use Coinbase Wallet & Cypher. If you’re trying to login with the same account you’re using on desktop, you’ll have to import your wallet into the mobile wallet. Hope this helps! 🐧

So I'd have to, using my metamask wallet private key, import my wallet into say Trust? Not seeing the option on Status. Will try Trust (never used it before). Thanks for the reply!
Has anyone succeeded on using peepeth on a smartphone? I'm trying to use Status, as peepeth is listed as one of the Dapps, but cannot get to login (nor do i understand what needs to be done). (I have eth on the status wallet)

Since using Peepeth (and MetaMask) for the first time, I've been pleasantly surprised just how simple, integrated and behind the scenes it all is.
It's not very clear to me, will normal users have to pay for peeps when peepeth is fully functional? Trying to convince some friends, but they very wary of the fact that they have to pay.
How about some #astronomy ? Perseids meteor shower, captured last week in south Germany, buzzing by the center of our Galaxy.
